Early Voting. What should I do?

Here are my top concerns: for whatever reason not being allowed to vote, for whatever reason my vote not being counted, and Obama losing. But yeah, I can work myself in to a hell of a tizzy worrying about this election.

I voted for waiting for November 4, but that depends on your schedule.  I've been to the polls where things were going wrong and it took an hour in line to vote.  I've also walked in and voted right away.  I like standing in line with my fellow community members waiting in the cold and dark before work to vote.  There's something purposeful about it.  And you probably will get a "I voted" sticker if you go on the day of.  I have an absentee ballot.  I'm going to fill it out ahead of time and then walk it in to drop off the day of.  I get nervous about something happening to it in the mail.

I voted for voting early only because I have had bad experiences.  I always wait forever, it seems.

on a (somewhat) unrelated note, every time I come to this topic I get a "vote yes prop 8/protect marriage" banner ad on the side below the VE ad. D:

on a related note, I vote absentee when possible. I didn't get the thingy for it in time last time so I went to the poll for the very first time. Man was that ballot marking thing confusing (I'm for serious!).

You should vote early at the polls, everyone should if they can.  There have been 100's of 1000's of people getting purged off the registration lists, even newly registered people.  If you vote early, you will know early if for some reason you have been taken off, then you have time to remedy the situation.  Absentee ballots where you send it in via mail, that I am not so sure of.  If you do, you MUST attach a photocopy of your ID with your ballot.

Good point.

I'm fairly certain that we are going to vote tomorrow.
