Planet Green Channel
Has anyone watched the new Planet Green channel yet (it may only be new to our cable company)? I got curious and went to their website and clicked on their Food & Health tab to see if there is any veg*n content. I finally found their "Vegetarian" links:

They stick an article in the list even if the word "vegetarian" is used negatively as in "this is not vegetarian" so the usefulness of this to vegwebbers is, IMHO, neglible.
I found one recipe that is interesting but I'll probably never make because I doubt I'll ever find nettles at a farmer's market or store. (It's not on the vegetarian links page.)

An article had a link to this site that I also found interesting.

On the whole, I don't think the Planet Green website is very interesting.
Yeah, we watched an intro show last weekend about green machines. It was interesting that both the gocart and snow mobile faired very well against the gas guzzlers!
What channel is it? I haven't been able to find it since.
it always irritates me when i see commercials and articles and stuff about "going green" but they never mention decreased meat consumption. im not sure if i made this up but i think i read somewhere that not eating meat was better for the environment than having a hybrid car or something..maybe we should all email them and let them know whats up hehe ;) im gonna see if we have that channel though..it sounds intriguing.
TnT, we used to make nettle soup; found them in the garden, mostly. Or the lawn. You should use the young shoots, in spring--kind of like dandelions.
