Italian Bread Dipping Oil

What you need: 

1 tablespoon basil
1 tablespoon parsley
1 tablespoon (about 2-3 cloves) minced garlic
1 teaspoon thyme
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon rosemary
1/2 teaspoon kosher sea salt
1/2 teaspoon olive oil
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/8 teaspoon lemon juice

What you do: 

1. Mix the above ingredients in a bowl.
2. When you're ready to eat, put 1 1/2 teaspoons of the dry mixture on a pretty plate.
3. Pour 3-4 tablespoons olive oil on top the dry mixture, and enjoy with your favorite dipping bread.
Mmmmm! This dry mixture can be stored for quite a while; I'm not sure exactly how long, because it always gets eaten within 2 weeks.

SO HOW'D IT GO?

Blended with the oil, this also is awesome for pasta all'olio! Sort of like puttanesca...I added some black olives, yum. :D

Guys remeber it is key to use the right quality of olive oil. Please do not ruin such a succulent recipe by using any oil, just use fresh olive oil, possibly cold pressed olive oil. The taste will be at another level...believe me! this was AWESOME.
i'm sort of embarrassed to admit this, but i ate a whole loaf of french bread with this, half for dinner (and this is where it gets really embarrassing) and the other half for breakfast. :)
really REALLY good.
