Anyone Ever Heard of The Colonix Program?

I ran into a friend a while back who looked great.  Her skin was glowing, she had lost a couple pounds and she couldn't stop smiling.  I asked what she had done to herself and she mentioned Colonix.  She even showed me pictures of her own "stuff" that resembled the pics on the site.

Has anyone tried this product.  So many positive testimonials..

I am really interested in doing a detox or colon clense so I'm really glad this was posted! Ever since I went back to a vegetarian diet (aprox 3 months now) I have wanted to cleanse my colon of any lingering rotting meat products--but I'm not sure what to do, or what is just fad. I know some people talked about the master cleanse--but that is just too much for me. Is there any cleanse I can do while still eating, at least a little? Or maybe a small fast--like a 3 day weekend? I am hypoglycemic so I don't think it would be good for me to do anything beyond a few day that requires no eating--any suggestions?

OMG! Those pics were gross but fasinating! I would love to get that kind of "crap" out of my system!!!

What happens to me when I take some mag citrate is enough for me.  I can't imagine doing a colon cleanse from the back end, just gross.  I had a homeopath type tell me that colonics were then only thing that would cure my depression.  Totally the wrong end!

Now, having said that, I really DO use the mag citrate about twice a year and I feel much better afterwards.  I think the root of this is a back up from celiac sprue.  That problem usually produces lots of diarrhea for me and after a really bad round, it is constipation.  A dose of mag will fix both problems and I feel cleaner, less bloated.  As I have switched to a gluten-free diet, none of this is happening at this point, but I am painlessly bloated right now.  I think it is the difference in foods and lack of constant grains, but increased fruits and vegetables.  I can only tell you that my hair and nails are on overdrive growth and my skin is starting to clear up.  Interesting...

But I still would not do this you posted.

capture... i used to often do a fast for up to a week, depending on how much energy i needed...at times i needed to only do it for a few days, b/c i needed more energy...with plain juices.
i have diabetes, so i couldnt do some cleanses, w/o any sugar, so the juice cleans you out, and you can manage bloodsugar.

i did this stuff before i knew about all the products and plans that are out now, but it was cheap, and efficient!  :)
even a 3 day juice fast is ok...just drink alot of water along with it and start back on foods slowly, with bland stuff first.

OK--I have heard of a lot of people doing this on here--any good websites you could point me towards? I think 3 days would be about right for me--at least to try at first. What kind of juices can you drink? I dont have a juicer--are store bought OK? Would adding a fiber powder to them be effective? I uess I have a lot of questions  :P Any help would be appricitaed!!!

the "Kripalu" center is a place in my hood where i first heard of these juice fasts...there might be more info on their site:
www.kripalu.org
i did it on my own, for arelatively short period of time...only up to a week, so i wasnt concerned about added nutrients, or even electrolytes, so i may not be the best person to take advice from....but ill give it anyway!  :)
i just drank clear juices... apple juice mostly. apple cider has more fiber to it (or unclarified apple juice)...but the juice cleared me out fine, personally.

this article has some info...esp at the end... w/ some recipes. they recommended adding
spirulina for blood sugar control
and protein powder w/ omega 3s and 6s (so im thinking flax may work?)

but again, i did it cheap, and drank store bought stuff.  ???
