Michael Pollan article in NY Times

Thought I'd share a good Michael Pollan (Omnivore's Dilemma) article I saw in the NY Times. Probably not news to anyone here, but our farming and food industry is seriously twisted.

Interesting stir to action article. It's nice to see an article like that in a publication with such a wide distribution.

"Iconic foodlike substance"!! That's the best description of a Twinkie I've ever heard!! ;D ;D As a word-freak, I'll savour that description all day! It has replaced "processed cheese food" in my file of ironic-as-heck descriptions. (Re: that one, if you have to tell people it's cheese, and then tell them it's food, it's obviously neither the one nor the other!)
