Frequent Flier
In-Flight Plight of a Famished Vegan
"Since I fly so much, and often at short notice, I often think I should approach my food needs more diligently. I do try to pack some food before flights. But I sometimes have problems with security.
"On a recent flight I brought a jar of vegan creamy peanut butter with me. The security agent insisted that my carry-on food product was a cream, and therefore a forbidden substance."
it makes me happy that the president of the humane society is vegan. i mean. to me its like "duh", of course hes vegan, but i've met many animal/pet lover/meat eaters... so you never know.

"I love animals. In fact, I love them so much I eat them."
I can totally sympathize with his article. I'm sure we all can. I take food absolutely everywhere I go, whether it's on a flight or on the road, to visit the family or take a vacation, or just to run errands around town. I have been stranded and starving in tiny airports and tiny towns. I've learned my lesson. Larabars, primal strips, bananas, granola, PB&J, apples, pretzels, I always have something. I have fed many people out of my bottomless bag before.

lol. Sounds like my bag. I was looking for lip balm -- I came up with toast and a banana, a baggie of cereal with raisins and almonds, freeze dried peaches, a fruit leather, a larabar, a clifbar and a clif Mojo bar. I had another larabar in there too but I ate it in class yesterday. (I did not, however, find lipbalm >:( and I'm trying really hard not to walk downstairs and buy one from the quickie mart since I know I have 10 at home and I'm trying to to spend money).
