I'm serious.
What helps you go? I so need some tips right about now.
It seems that every couple o' years I try the vegetarian thing and this time I'm 36 years old.
Some thing is different. This change of diet might actually stick this time.
But... Or should I say butt?
This time around my focus is on non-leavened bread, beans and rice as the staple.
Yada, yada, yada,
Apple juice works wonders for my movement moments.
Prunes don't live up to there name.
What works for you?

what a fun thread!
first off i'd like to say that i've had self-diagnosed digestive issues for a number of years. since being veggie for 1 year, i didnt notice much difference. since being VEGAN i go all the time. it used to be i was lucky to go once every 3-5 days. and i could go up to 2 weeks w/o a movement. now, i go anywhere from 2 - 4 times a day! i think its a combination of things but diet is the biggest.
2 tablespoons of ground flaxseeds a day....
I have IBS-C and it seems like eating peanut butter (2 tbsp.) does the job for me.
Running. And lentils.
;)b ;D
Raw eating does it for me--turns me into a proud pooper! I am always shocked, amazed, and well...quite proud of my terrifically gigantic poo's while consistently eating raw!
*lol* That seemed like waaaaaaay TMI...but I suppose it's thread specific so it's OK! *lol*
