I have BBC's Persuasion on, but I can't really get into. I've heard thought that BBC's Sense & Sensibility is good. Of course I"ve watched the Ang Lee Emma Thompson version which is superb... I may get it this week to see :P
Just watched Born Rich.
PoliticalMonty...
I forgot about that one! (For the Bible Tells Me So) - I totally cried too. SO beautiful, good-hearted, & inspiring. Loved it!!
Also, watched Pirate Radio yesterday. Fantastic.
The Expendables I knew it was going to be a stupid action film. I just didn't know it was going to be as dumb as it was.
And even worse, they're making an Expendables 2! http://bestsmileys.com/sad/6.gif
To Sleep with a Vampire
I finally watched all of Lost, not usually my kind of show, but I really like it. Most people hated the ending, but I liked it.

Wait. What?! The first was sooo bad. I usually like pointless action films but this was bad.
Earlier I watched Mystery Science Theater 3000: Hamlet. It wasn't as funny as typical MST3K fashion.
Just finished Beer Wars. I now want a beer. :)
Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid
Swing Time
Double Indemnity
I've also been watching lots of King of the Hill recently.
Streetcar Named Desire
In the Heat of the Night
In the Heat of the Night
One of my favorites!
I finally watched The Blue Angel (Der Blaue Engel) last weekend. There were things I liked about it but, mostly, I found it slow and depressing.
American Psycho
Not what I expected AT ALL. I knew it would be crazy and gory and whatnot, but I did not like. I very much dislike movies like this (in terms of the conclusion or lack thereof). I also found the whole thing very annoying. I would have given it a 1, but P liked it for some reason.
Still watching Mad Men!
The lamp thing in our big TV went out and is expensive to fix, and the Silverlight plugin for netflix online doesn't work on my laptop so I have been sans muveez for the last week. >:(
watched the business of being born again.
I have been getting my list of horror movies ready for October, where I watch nothing but horror movies! My list will include classics, new releases, remakes, and B horror. Pretty exciting!
The House that Dripped Blood
I watched the doc. Bill Cunningham New York yesterday. Very interesting story of a fashion photographer for the times. Sounds boring, but it was great.
SB: Who are those guys? Love it!
AC: :)>>> American Psycho for the business card scene alone. Oh and when they are making restaurant reservations. And his expose' on Phil Collins and Huey Lewis and the News! Totally not what I expected but was pretty darn good. I tend not to like movies where the characters break character and talk to the camera. But Natural Born Killers and American Psycho are two exceptions.
Me...I have been dipping deep into the bottom rung of the archives. A couple Roy Rogers westerns, late 40's, both in color, borrowed from my neighbor:
The Bells of San Angelo
About an old abandoned mine, an ambitious miner with questionable mineral rights, and the ensuing bru-ha-ha. Dale Evans plays a famous western fiction writer name "Lee Madson" who everyone in town mistakenly thinks is a man. Pretty good fun. The fight scenes are a riot, AND Roy even loses one! But not for long!!!!!
Under California Stars
Roy returns to his ranch after making it big in the movies; A boy and his dog run away; Trigger kidnapped and held for ransom; Roy fights lots of times, winning all of them. Interesting thing that Trigger got higher credit mention than Dale Evans. How do you fight that with the studio?
Jessimaka33, Business of Being Born...fantastic!! Gave me all new respect for Rikki Lake (sp? Is that her name? You know who I mean.) :)

I watched that the other day too! I thought it was pretty interesting.
Yes Tess! And it even further opens the eyes to the B/S of the medical industry.
Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story - It was pretty damn funny in some parts. Other parts bored me.
Team America - I was bored with this movie.
Someone just gave me a copy of Se7en. I've seen this movie a million times but it is So. Damn. Amazing. :) And it's nice to finally have a copy of this great family film. ;D
